Certificate
Evidence and audit trail
Hand over the equipment record and its evidence.
KitNDocs keeps the logbook, certificates, completion evidence and issue files on the equipment record for an auditor, insurer or owner.

Read what happened on one piece of equipment.
Open the equipment record and the logbook puts the dated facts together. The completion sits beside the reading that informed it, the issue that started the work and the certificate that released the equipment.
If somebody asks why equipment was released, the certificate and the work it covered are already there.

Evidence you can hand over
Attach paper evidence to the work it records.
A skydiving operation can attach the signed inspection form to a completed reserve task. A paragliding operation can attach a trim report to the completed inspection. The paper record still matters, and KitNDocs makes it findable.
The equipment logbook shows events in date order.
Completions, readings, issues and certificates stay together instead of being rebuilt from separate notes.
How the logbook worksFiles stay with the work they prove.
A packing card, service sheet or trim report attaches to the completed task. A photo on an issue shows what was seen, but it is not the maintenance record.
How completion evidence worksCorrections stay visible.
A wrong file can be voided and restored for 28 days. After that, the file contents are destroyed and the void note remains.

All documents
The organisation list shows every document. An equipment record narrows the list to that equipment.
Certificates
Generated certificates have their own list.
Documents collects the certificates KitNDocs generates from the record. The organisation view shows them all. The equipment view shows only the certificates for the open record.
The list is for reading documents, not uploading them. Paper evidence attaches to the work or finding it proves.

The audit trail keeps readable evidence.
- KitNDocs indexes governing-body forms and the card in the equipment. It does not replace them.
- A file on an issue shows what somebody saw. Attach the maintenance paper to the completed task it proves.
- The public audit trail is the readable record, certificates and stored evidence an operator can produce. The database change log stays internal.
